What is Oxygen?
Oxygen gas is produced from atmospheric air. Oxygen gas comprises 21 percent
of atmospheric gas. Its symbol is O2. Atomic weight of oxygen is 16 and atomic
no. is 8. Oxygen gas is non metallic element. It was apparently first obtained
in 1727 by Stephen Hales. Oxygen is colorless, odorless and tasteless.
Oxygen reacts with all elements, but not with inert gases to form compound called
oxides. Oxygen support combustion and support flammable materials to burn more
rapidly. And this combustion supporting property prefer it for different industrial
applications.
Salient Features of Oxygen :-
- Leak Proof argon welded column.
- Very compact & sturdy oxygen.
- Low working pressure of oxygen gas plants.
- Very low maintenance for producing oxygen gas.
- Raw material -Free Atmosphere Air for producing oxygen/nitrogen gas/liquid.
- Latest molecular Sieve absorption of Zeochem, Switzerland.
- Built in Liquid Oxygen / Nitrogen pump with internal gas vaporizer for filling
of bone dry and high purity oxygen gas in cylinders.
- Hydraulic type Expansion Engine for oxygen plants.
- Highly efficient Heat-exchanger for recovery of waste cold energy to reduce
operating cost.
- The oxygen plant is supplied complete as per standard scope of supply.
